GETTING TO HILLWOOD
Bordering Rock Creek Park in the Forest Hills neighborhood of Washington, D.C., Hillwood is accessible by foot, bike or car.
Hillwood provides complimentary parking. Handicap parking is also available on a first-come, first-served basis. On busier days, visitors may be directed to complimentary off-site parking. Hillwood staff will direct you to designated parking areas when you arrive at the entrance gate.
ACCESS TO MUSEUM AND GARDENS DURING YOUR VISIT
Please note that access to the museum and gardens is separate from your cafe reservation. If you would like to enjoy the estate either on your own or with a guided tour, we ask that you make advance arrangements -- there is more information the Hillwood website. Admission (except for private or curator tours) is by suggested donation. If your group would like to enjoy the gardens before or after your event, a donation of $12 per person for self-guided admission is the recommended for a group rate. Advance reservations are not required, but we encourage visitors to book their tickets online in advance to ensure a smooth check-in. During peak garden seasons (spring and fall), some visitors appreciate the convenience of registering in advance. Please review our safety guidelines before your visit.

- Senior (65+): $15
- Hillwood members: free
Adults and seniors receive $3 off the suggested donation for weekday visits and $1 for weekend visits when reservations are made online.
